Hell Week

January 28, 2008

So this past week has been HELL. As in NO FUN. Bruce and I have been stressed out, pissy, antsy, dissatisfied, disconnected, unhappy, depressed, miserable, mean, snappy…. oh my, the list goes on. The ups of the week have been his birthday, my dad’s birthday and getting to go to Sandals. The downs? Well, that would basically be everything else. I had about three or four apartment’s worth of sewage in my bathroom on Saturday, I’ve had an eye infection,  I’ve been feeling pretty shabby on and off, the YMCA has been frustrating, Bruce is still unemployed and on and on and on. To top it off, Bruce and I have been extremely frustrated in and of ourselves, and we’ve been taking it out on each other beyond reason. It’s been a back and forth game of “who can take out as much on the other as possible.” Pray for us as we go to work on mending our situation.

And on a side note….

January 25, 2008

Bruce is amazing. I can’t wait to celebrate our relationship with all of our friends and family on August 30th. He’s seriously the best thing that ever happened to me. I think I’d be on a one-stop train to the insane asylum if it weren’t for him. Baby, I love you times all the moons and stars in the sky and all the fishes in the sea.

<3 ME!!!

(Obviously)

But seriously, I overdrafted my account three times this week. THREE.
“How the heck did you do that!” you may ask.  Easy. WaMu has online banking and you can check your account transactions. They used to list an overdraw like this; – 47.95. Apparently I missed the memo that they were now going to list it like this; (47.95). Bummer huh? Especially when my account was overdrawn (256.00). Lovely. To add insult to injury, my account was SUPPOSED to be connected to my savings account, so should I somehow commit such a faux pas, the money would come out of that. But apparently, someone REALLY sucked at their job, and, despite the fact that I was assured that the connection existed, it actually did not. So I was rewarded for my excellent financial skills with not one, not three, but SIX overdraft charges of $30. OH. EM. GEE. Talk about heart attack. I’m in VONS trying to pay for my groceries and they’re denying my BANK CARD. Gee whiz. You cannot IMAGINE how pissed I was. And then, today, the general manager tried to tell me that they couldn’t reverse the charges!!!! Mmmmm, HECK NO! Yay for the veto. I called a branch manager and he refunded my account $180.00 = ) Did I mention I LOVE WaMu? In the words of Kurtis, “good people.”

The sad part of my story? My account. 40.08

Lovely. Just LOVELY.

So…. crazy story….

January 19, 2008

I want to go to Worlds. Who wants to go with me? Hint: See video- it’s proof I’m smoking something

So, I’m very excited….

January 18, 2008

Because for a short period of time, at least, I have internet at Starbucks. Bruce has a t-mobile phone that’s not turned off yet, so I get to pay twenty dollars a month to have something to DO on my 1-4-hour lunch breaks! Yay!  Excitement.

That being said, I am extremely upset; one of the diamonds fell out of my ring!!! Fortunately we have insurance on it, so if I lose any diamonds in my ring, they’ll replace them for the rest of my life. SWEET. But I’m still sad that my ring is messed up. Robin’s Bros. is not getting an A in Ring Craftsmanship so far. Lame-o’s.

Also, I’m kind of sad; I’m not really LOVING my job the way I had hoped I would. I mean, obviously, it’s gymnastics; which is awesome, and it’s tumble tots which is AWESOME. But I’m not into it. Tumble tots is different here. It’s like crowd-control, and no one really LOVES their job. I don’t know. Everyone just seems really tired, and not-so-into it. Idk. It’s not exciting at all. It’s kind of a bummer. And the kids don’t seem so into it either. In the past few days I’ve had WAY more sucky classes than otherwise. Good classes are the exception here, and kids get away with MURDER. No fun. = (

Yay!!!

January 14, 2008

okay, we’re MOVED! Sweet. Now my bank account is EMPTY [insert sad face here].  I started my new job, which is mostly a cakewalk (ba-dah-ba-ba-ba.. I’m lovin’ it!) lmao. Bruce and I have only fought about one thing so far; the moving etiquette of baseball cards (who-hoo!). I have my engagement ring back and it’s shinier than ever, it fits my finger better and it says “eternal love” now, as opposed to the former “etenal love.” I’m becoming deathly ill and I may die of a head cold (yes, I admit; I’m a drama queen). Daquiri (our cat) is no longer hiding in walls and cabinets, so Bruce is breathing much better now ; ) We are still severely lacking in furniture (no couch, no desk, no barstools, no kitchen table, etc).  But we’re pretty okay. Life is good. We’re having fun, and we like our church. We’re close to Sheri and Olivia (who are awesome). We’ve found LOTS of cool places to eat (and now we’re getting fat). And I’m proud to announce that we can now find our way to Sheri and Olivia’s house, Walmart, Target, the mall, and the grocery store without GPS (yay for us!!!). That being said, peace it kids, I’ve got Tylenol to hunt down….
